This product is more easily absorbed by the stomach than cheaper vitamin supplements which contain calcium carbonate. Calcium carbonate is very difficult for many people to digest. Further, many vitamins and supplements may contain 90% calcium, however, only 4% of that calcium is actually transported to the cells.
